Problems solved by technology

[0004] However, compared with conventional thermosetting primers, the above-mentioned ultraviolet curable primers have a problem of poor adhesion to aluminum substrates that have been subjected to surface treatments such as zinc phosphate treatment and zirconium phosphate treatment.

Embodiment 1

[0118]Add a hydroxyl-containing acrylic monomer (trade name "FA-2", manufactured by Daicel Chemical Co., Ltd.) to a trifunctional isocyanate compound (trade name "Sumijul N-3300", an isocyanurate-type isocyanate compound, 30 parts of oligomers obtained on Sumitomo Bayel Co., Ltd. (the number average molecular weight is 1455, and there are 2 polymerizable double bonds per molecule), 30 parts of pentaerythritol triacrylate, 40 parts of polyvinyl alcohol diacrylate, 1- 0.5 parts of hydroxycyclohexylbenzophenone (photopolymerization initiator), 3 parts of 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyldiphenylphosphine oxide (photopolymerization initiator), 3-aminopropyltrimethylol 5 parts of silane (aminosilane-containing coupling agent), 5 parts of aluminum chelate (trade name "Plenact AL-M", acetoalkoxy aluminum diisopropoxide, manufactured by Kawaken Fine Chemical Co., Ltd.), and talc 20 parts of No. 1 (extender pigment, manufactured by Takehara Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.), mixed and dispersed in an ...

Embodiment 2

[0120] Except using an equivalent amount of 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane (containing mercaptosilane coupling agent) to replace the 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane in Example 1, perform the same operation as in Example 1 to obtain ultraviolet rays Curable coating composition (I-2).

Embodiment 3

[0122] In addition to using an equal amount of oligomer-type amino-containing silane coupling agent (trade name "KP-390", number average molecular weight is about 1500, manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.) instead of 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane in Example 1 Except that, the same operation as in Example 1 was performed to obtain an ultraviolet curable coating composition (I-3).

Abstract

The present invention provides an active energy ray-curable coating composition containing (A) a polymerizable unsaturated compound; (B) a photopolymerization initiator; (C) at least one silane coupling agent selected from the group consisting of amino group-containing silane coupling agents and mercapto group-containing silane coupling agents; and (D) at least one chelate compound selected from the group consisting of aluminum chelates and titanium chelates, and a film formation method using the same.Disclosed is an active energy ray-curable coating composition characterized by containing a polymerizable unsaturated compound (A), a photopolymerization initiator (B), at least one silane coupling agent (C) selected from the group consisting of amino group-containing silane coupling agents and mercapto group-containing silane coupling agents, and at least one chelate compound (D) selected from the group consisting of aluminum chelates and titanium chelates. Also disclosed is a method for forming a coating film using such an active energy ray-curable coating composition.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an active energy ray curable coating composition and a coating film forming method. Background technique [0002] In recent years, in order to reduce the weight of automobile parts, automobile bodies, etc., aluminum substrates have been increasingly used as their raw materials. On an aluminum substrate such as an automobile part, an undercoat film is usually formed, and an intermediate coat film and an overcoat film are formed as necessary. The formation of this primer film has conventionally used a heat-curable primer, but the application of an active energy ray-curable primer is currently being studied for the purpose of reducing the curing process of the paint film and reducing heat energy. [0003] Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-22474 discloses that after forming an electrodeposition coating film on a metal substrate such as an automobile body, an ultraviolet curable primer containing a film-forming resin having a...
