Abstract

The adhesive includes one main component comprising glycol, dimethyl terephthalate, neopentyl glycol, isophthalic acid, sebacic acid and ethyl acetate; and one curing agent component comprising trihydroxy methyl propane, toluene diisocyanate and ethyl acetate. The main component is prepared through mixing and reacting glycol and dimethyl terephthalate to produce glycol terephthalate, further reacting with neopentyl glycol, etc to produce polyester polyol pre-polymer, consensation to produce polyester polyol and adding ethyl acetate for dissolving and diluting. The adhesive may be applied for adhering steaming resistant aluminum plastic articles.
