Embodiment 1

[0067] 95 parts of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 5 parts of acrylic acid, and 0.2 parts of benzoyl peroxide were solution polymerized in ethyl acetate at 60°C under an inert atmosphere to prepare Acrylic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive A solution. Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive A, 5.5 parts, 40 parts isopropyl myristate, and 5 parts isosorbide dinitrate, based on solids weight, were stirred in a container until the mixture became homogeneous. 0.165 parts of ethyl acetoacetate aluminum diisopropoxide was added thereto, and the viscosity of the mixture was adjusted with ethyl acetate. Thus a pressure-sensitive adhesive solution was obtained.

[0068] The pressure sensitive adhesive solution was applied to the non-woven side of the backing in an amount such that the thickness after drying was 80 μm, wherein the backing was prepared by adding poly(ethylene terephthalate) (basis weight, 12 g / m2) hot-melt bonded to a poly(ethylene terephthalate) film (2 μm thick). The coated backing wa...

Embodiment 2

[0073] The pressure-sensitive adhesive solution obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 was applied to a poly(ethylene terephthalate) liner (75 μm) that had been treated with a silicone release agent in such an amount that the formed The thickness is 80 μm. The coated liner was dried at 100° C. for 3 minutes in a hot-air circulating drying oven, and then heat-treated for 24 hours. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer was thus obtained. The nonwoven side of the same backing as in Example 1 was compression bonded to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer with a rubber roller to produce an adhesive article of the present invention.

Embodiment 3

[0079] A drug-free acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive A solution in ethyl acetate was prepared according to the following recipe. The pressure-sensitive adhesive solution was applied to a poly(ethylene terephthalate) liner (75 μm) that had been treated with a silicone release agent in such an amount that it dried to a thickness of 75 μm. The coated liner was dried at 100° C. for 3 minutes in a hot-air circulating drying oven, and then heat-treated for 24 hours. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer was thus obtained. The nonwoven side of the same backing as in Example 1 was compression bonded to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer with a rubber roller to produce an adhesive article. In addition, the liner of the adhesive article is peeled off, and nicotine is applied to the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a die coater to allow the nicotine to be absorbed in such an amount that the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains 10 parts of nicotine Acrylic ...

Abstract

The invention provides an adhesive preparation including a backing, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which contains a drug and is disposed on at least one side of the backing; in which the backing includes a polyester film having a thickness of 0.5 to 6.0 [mu]m, and a polyester nonwoven fabric directly bound to the film. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer preferably is directly or indirectly laminated on the nonwoven-fabric side of the backing. The adhesive preparation of the invention is flexible enough to comply to the skin and has reduced skin irritation and high stability.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an adhesive article comprising a backing and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive layer comprises a drug and is laminated to at least one side of said backing. Background of the invention [0002] For transdermal administration of drugs to the body, adhesive preparations applied to the surface of the skin are used. In the development of adhesive articles, since the applied surface is the skin surface, it is highly required to have operability in application, movement (flexibility) conforming to the skin surface, and non-irritating properties to the skin, etc. [0003] Adhesive articles are further required to have properties such as overall pressure-sensitive adhesive layer stability and stability of the drug itself over an extended period of time (storage stability), and sufficiently fix the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to the backing. Lining (fixation). [0004] Japanese ...
