Abstract

The invention discloses ytterbium fluorophosphates-doped laser glass with a high emission cross section and comprises the contents according to the following mole percentage: 20 to 25 percent of AlF3; 12 to 14 percent of MgF2; 9 to 11 percent of CaF2; 9 to 10 percent of SrF2; 10 to 15 percent of BaF2; 5 to 7 percent of YF3; 4 to 5 percent of LiF; LaF3: 5 to 8 percent of LiF; 1 to 5 percent of Nb2O5; 5 to 8 percent of R(H2PO4)2; 10 to 13 percent of Ba(PO3)3; 1 percent of YbF3. The invention discloses a preparation method of the glass with the following steps: the powder of each component is taken according to a formula to be mixed uniformly, melted into glass melt, poured into a die and placed into a muffle furnace which is heated to the glass transformation temperature to preserve the heat for 2 hours; then annealing is carried out to 200 DEG C with the cooling speed being 5 DEG C per hour and then the annealing is carried out again to 80 DEG C with the cooling speed being 20 DEG C per hour to reduce the temperature to the room temperature. The glass of the invention has the better property of crystallization resistance, the fluorescence lifetime is more than 1.6ms and a stimulated emission cross section is as high as 0.8426pm<2>. The glass is ideal dielectric material which realizes high power and high gain.

Description

technical field The invention relates to fluorophosphate glass, in particular to ytterbium-doped fluorophosphate laser glass with a high emission cross section and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the field of material technology. Background technique Doped with Yb 3+ Laser materials have far-reaching significance for the development of laser technology. due to Yb 3+ Ion doping concentration can be very high, doped with Yb 3+ The gain medium can be made into a thin sheet with a thickness of several hundred microns, and the thin sheet is attached to the cooling plate, so that the distance between the heat source and the cooling body is very small, and the heat flow is along the axial direction. Even at high pump power density, the material in the Temperature changes are also small, thus greatly reducing thermal stress and distortion in the gain medium. For high-power fiber lasers, the requirements for working substances are: (1) cladding pumping can be used, (2...
