Problems solved by technology

However, hexaarylbisimidazoles absorb in the ultraviolet region of 255nm to 275nm, and hardly absorb above 300nm, so it is difficult to directly use them for ultraviolet light-induced polymerization

Embodiment 1

[0073] Embodiment 1 is used as the photoinitiator of ultraviolet light initiating polymerization in the solution

[0074] Weigh 28.49g of methyl methacrylate, 1g of o-chlorohexaarylbiimidazole (BCIM), 0.5g of 4,4-di(N,N'-dimethyl-amino)benzophenone (EMK), N-phenylglycine (NPG) 0.1g, it is dissolved in 70gN, in the N-dimethylformamide (DMF), passes through N 2 For 20 minutes, put the solution into the capillary dilatometer and keep the temperature at 25°C. Illuminate with 200W ultraviolet light. As time goes by, the liquid level in the capillary gradually decreases. After half an hour, the polymer solution is mixed with methanol / water. The liquid precipitated to obtain a white polymer product.

Embodiment 2

[0075] Embodiment 2 is used as the initiator of photocurable coating material

[0076] Add 55g of epoxy acrylic resin and 20g of trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) into a glass container equipped with a stirrer, stir and mix evenly at 40°C to obtain component A.

[0077] Add 10g hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) and 10g tetrahydrofuran (THF) and 3.5g o-chlorinated hexaarylbiimidazole (BCIM) into another container, 1g 4,4-bis(N,N'-di Methyl-amino)benzophenone (EMK), 0.4g N-phenylglycine (NPG), 0.1g hydroquinone, stir well to obtain component B.

[0078] Under the condition of avoiding light, add component B to component A and mix well. Apply the prepared solution on the substrate, dry it, and place it under a 200W xenon lamp for 1 minute to obtain a light-cured coating film.

Embodiment 3

[0079] Embodiment 3 is as the initiator of photocurable coating material

[0080] Add 35g of epoxy acrylic resin, 20g of trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) and 10g of hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) into a glass container equipped with a stirrer, stir and mix evenly at 40°C to obtain a composition Part A.

[0081] In another container, add 20g epoxy acrylic resin and 3.5g o-chlorinated hexaarylbiimidazole (BCIM), 1g 4,4-bis(N,N'-dimethyl-amino)benzophenone (EMK) , 0.4g N-phenylglycine (NPG), 0.1g hydroquinone, pre-dispersed first, and finally sheared and dispersed on a three-roll machine to obtain component B.

[0082] Under the condition of avoiding light, add component B to component A and mix well. Apply the prepared solution on the substrate, dry it, and place it under a 200W xenon lamp for 1 minute to obtain a light-cured coating film.

Abstract

An ultraviolet light-sensitive co-initiator system and an application of the same belong to the photosensitive high molecular material technical field. The co-initiator system consists of a hexaarylbisimidazole compound, a sensitizing agent and a hydrogen donor, wherein the weight of the hexaarylbisimidazole compound is 10 to 60 times of that of the hydrogen donor, while the weight of the sensitizing agent is 1 to 20 times of that of the hydrogen donor. The co-initiator system is used to make a combination capable of ultraviolet polymerization and containing (a) at least one unsaturated compound capable of ultraviolet polymerization, (b) at least one ultraviolet light-sensitive co-initiator system as described in the claim of right 1, and (c) at least one polymerization inhibitor selected from phenols, quinones and organometallic compounds. The ultraviolet light-sensitive co-initiator system can be used as vinyl monomeric ultraviolet polymerization initiator, or can be used in coating materials, printing ink, adhesive photo-curing coating materials, photoresist, printing plate materials, photo-imaging materials, holographic recording materials, optical materials, decorative materials, packaging materials and three-dimensional modeling materials.

Description

technical field [0001] An ultraviolet photosensitive composite initiation system and its application relate to an ultraviolet photosensitive composite initiation system, which is composed of a hexaaryl bis-imidazole compound, a sensitizer, and a hydrogen donor, and belongs to the technical field of photosensitive polymer materials. Background technique [0002] In recent years, with the rapid development and wide application of ultraviolet curing (UV) technology, the development of UV-sensitive polymer materials has become an important research field, and the study of efficient and stable UV-sensitive initiator systems has become the key. [0003] Hexaarylbis-imidazoles are a type of photoinitiation system developed by DuPont in the 1960s. It has many excellent features: first, it has high sensitivity and is easy to decompose into two triaryl imidazole radicals at low energy; , Hexaaryl bis-imidazole compounds are used in optical imaging systems, and low energy can obtain gr...
