Abstract

The invention relates to an injection molding material for injection molding in a mold and a preparation method thereof. The injection molding material is mainly prepared by the following materials based on parts by weight: 1-40 parts of PC, 60-99 parts of PET for engineering plastics, 0.05-1 part of nucleating agent and 0.5-5 parts of compatible agent or 0.01-0.1 part of ester exchange catalyst. The preparation method is realized by the following steps: (1) preparing materials; (2) mixing the materials; (3) blending, adding the uniformly mixed materials into a double-screw extruder to melt and blend so as to form fusant; cooling the extruded fusant by water to obtain a modified PET material, namely the injection molding material for the injection molding in the mold. Compared with the prior ABS resin, the injection molding material has the advantages of higher adhesion force in high-temperature and high-humidity environment and lower material cost; in addition, the transparency and the impact resistant strength are higher than those of the ABS resin, and the molding shrinkage rate is lower than that of the ABS resin.
