Abstract

The invention relates to an LED drive circuit, which comprises a rectification filter circuit, a starting circuit, a switching pulse control circuit, a power control circuit, an auxiliary power supply circuit and an LED serial light-emitting circuit, wherein the starting circuit comprises a starting MOS (Metal Oxide Semiconductor) tube, a divider resistor and a starting voltage-regulator diode; the power control circuit comprises a power control MOS tube and a current detection resistor; high-voltage alternating current is input and is converted into high-voltage direct current after passing through the rectification filter circuit; the high-voltage direct current is converted into low voltage required by the switching pulse control circuit after passing through the starting circuit to enable the switching pulse control circuit to generate switching pulses; the duty ratio of the pulses generated is controlled by the power control circuit; and the starting circuit also comprises an energy-storing inductor which is connected with a flywheel diode in series. A user drive chip does not need integrated high voltage by using the LED drive circuit, and therefore, the cost is low and the self loss is small; moreover, the energy-storing inductor and the flywheel diode are used for charging the auxiliary circuit when the power control MOS tube is in a closed state, and thereby, the power supply conversion efficiency is improved.
