Abstract

The invention relates to a novel material testing machine, which consists of four parts, namely, a control system, a detection system, a tension, compression and torsion system and a bending system. In the control system, an industrial personal computer controls a motion control card through a software system, so that the motion control card drives a stepper motor to rotate by a shaft coupling and then drive a first worm, a second worm and a lifting platform to move to realize motion control. The detection system consists of an STSS-1 stress-strain module and a loading sensor. The tension, compression and torsion system consists of a shaft, a movable base and a pair of round four-jaw chucks, wherein the two ends of the shaft are provided with threads of which screwing directions are opposite; the movable base is in threaded connection with the shaft; and the pair of round four-jaw chucks is fixed on the movable base. The bending system is used for clamping the lifting platform which can move up and down on the upper surface of the middle part of a fixed base; and a loading head is arranged on the lifting platform.
