Embodiment Construction

[0020] Regarding the lighting system for controlling plant diseases (hereinafter referred to as the lighting system) according to one embodiment of the present invention, refer to Figure 1 to Figure 3 Be explained. figure 1 The structure of the agricultural greenhouse 2 provided with the lighting system 1 of this embodiment is shown. The lighting system 1 includes a light source unit 3 that irradiates ultraviolet rays and visible light, and control devices 4 and 5 that control lighting of the light source unit 3 according to the type of light. The light source unit 3 is provided below the beam 6 of the agricultural greenhouse 2 in parallel to the beam 6 , and irradiates ultraviolet rays and visible light toward the ridge 7 .

[0021] figure 2 The schematic structure of the lighting system 1 of this embodiment is shown. The light source unit 3 has an ultraviolet light source 8 for irradiating ultraviolet rays, a visible light source 9 for irradiating visible light, stabili...

Abstract

A lighting system for preventing plant disease damage (1) is provided with an ultraviolet light source (8) which emits ultraviolet radiation including UV-B in a wavelength range of 255-340 nm, a visible light source (9) which emits visible light and control devices (4,5) which control the lighting of these light sources. The control devices (4,5) control lighting of the ultraviolet light source (8), in a predetermined daytime period, such that horizontal irradiance at the plant canopy is no more than 50 [mu]W / cm2. The control devices (4,5) also control lighting of the visible light source (9), in a predetermined nighttime period, such that horizontal illuminance at the plant canopy is no more than 10 lux. The lighting system (1) can bring about a stable increase in the nutrient constituents of the plants, since a change in the constituents of the plants is effectively brought about by stimulation due to UV-B radiation, and by prolonged exposure to visible light, which is associated with vegetative growth. Since lighting of the ultraviolet light source (8) and the visible light source (9) is controlled by the control devices (4,5), user effort is effectively decreased.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a lighting system for preventing and controlling plant diseases for preventing and controlling plant diseases of crops and the like. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, plant seedling production systems, agricultural plastic greenhouses or glass greenhouses, etc., have been known that place plant seedlings in a space that isolates outdoor sunlight and outdoor air, and provide plant seedlings with a suitable temperature and humidity environment and light environment. In facility cultivation or open-air cultivation, etc., in order to suppress the generation of algae and mold produced on the medium, the plant cultivation lighting device that irradiates the B region ultraviolet rays (UV-B) to the plant seedlings (for example, refer to Japanese Patent Laid-Open 2005 - Bulletin No. 328734). [0003] It is known that irradiating plants with UV-B ultraviolet rays is effective in controlling plant diseases and is acco...
