The PDP discharging electrode comprises a scanning electrode and a maintenance electrode. The scanning electrode comprises a first confluence portion and a discharging portion which is arranged on one side of the first confluence portion. The maintenance electrode comprises a transparent electrode and a second confluence portion which is arranged on the transparent electrode. The second confluence portion is parallel to the first confluence portion. The scanning electrode and the second confluence portion are metal electrode portion. By using the display screen with the above structure, compared to a common PDP panel with an indium-tin-oxide (ITO) structure, a scanning speed is fast and power consumption is low; compared to the common PDP panel with an ITO less structure, transmittance is high, brightness is high and stability is high. In the invention, advantages of the PDP with the ITO structure and the PDP with the ITO less structure are comprehensively used. A fully discharged space can be provided. A low firing voltage on a substrate can be obtained and simultaneously a high lighting effect can be obtained too.
