Abstract

The invention provides a safe and economic device for reducing exhausted flue humidity of a wet desulfurization system, and a method thereof. The device comprises an inlet flue channel, a water absorption tower and an outlet flue channel, wherein the inlet flue channel, the water absorption tower and the outlet flue channel are sequentially communicated. One or plural layers of supporting plates for placing a desulfurization agent are arranged inside the water absorption tower. A slurry tank is arranged below the support plates, and a desulfurization feeding device is arranged above the side of the supporting plates, wherein the desulfurization agent absorbing the moisture of the exhausted flue drips in the slurry tank. The desulfurated pure flue gas carrying saturated water passes through a desulfurization agent layer filled in the water absorption tower, and partial moisture and sulfur dioxide in the flue gas are removed with the water absorbing capacity and the desulfurization capacity of the desulfurization agent so as to safely and economically solve the problem of white smoke belching in the existing wet desulfurization system.
