Abstract

The invention provides aqueous essential oil for coating soft PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) and a preparation method thereof. The aqueous essential oil consists of a component A and a component B, wherein the weight part ratio of the component A to the component B is (8-10):1; the component A comprises the following components in parts by weight: 67-90 percent of a high-molecular aqueous polyurethane dispersoid, 3.5-30 percent of deionized water, 0.5-1 percent of a flatting agent, 0.5-1 percent of a dispersing agent and 0.5-1 percent of an aid; and the component comprises the following components in parts by weight: 70-80 percent of an aqueous polyisocyanate curing agent and 20-30 percent of diethylene glycol methyl ether. By using different reaction speeds of -NCO and water and -OH in the aqueous essential oil for coating soft PVC, a crosslinking reaction is undergone on aqueous polyurethane resin and a polyisocyanates curing agent which can be dispersed into water, so that a formed bi-component aqueous polyurethane resin coating is formed, and has the advantages of superior coating gloss, hardness, chemical resistance and durability.
