Abstract

The invention discloses an image sampling method of native mode dual communication based on an MC protocol and Telnet. A system with the method comprises a PLC, an Ethernet module, and an image system. The PLC is used for storing configuration command data, setting parameters, and controlling the image system, and processes the data transmitted by the image system. The image system carries out image acquisition and image processing. The Ethernet module is used for data transmitting between the PLC and the image system. A native mode is employed in the PLC to control the image acquisition of the image system and JOB switching. The MC protocol is employed to work out and transmit the result of the image processing. When the transmission of complex data is involved, the MC protocol is directed used. In the IN-Sight browser of COGNEX, related settings of the MC communication protocol are carried out, and the calculated data and the address of a host computer are correctly set, thereby realizing data transmission. With the method of the invention, the workload of programming is largely reduced, the scan time of the host computer is shortened, and the processing speed each time is increased.
