Abstract

The invention discloses a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) contained environment-friendly inflaming retarding wood adhesive which is composed of the following raw materials of, by weight, 60%-70% of water glass, 5%-8% of POSS, 10%-15% of silica sol, 3%-4% of zinc aluminate, 3.5%-5.5% of calcium sulfate whisker, 5%-10% of nano-magnesium oxide and 0.5%-1% of a coupling agent. The adhesive has the advantages of being flame resistant, high in adhesive force, good in water resistance, anticorrosion, environment-friendly, non-toxic and capable of inhibiting smoke and can be used for adhering various wood materials.
