Embodiment 1

[0040] Premixed 64.95 parts by mass of polyethylene terephthalate ("RAMAPET" manufactured by Indorama Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "PET"), 35 parts by mass of barium sulfate ("Baryace B-55" manufactured by Sakai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Average particle size: 0.3 μm), and 0.05 parts by mass of zinc oxide (“MZ-500” manufactured by Tayca Corporation, specific surface area: 50 m 2 / g, average particle size: 25nm), and then put the mixture into a twin-screw extruder (manufactured by Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. "TEM-37BS"), and melt kneading at 270 to 300°C to obtain granular resin composition (1). The obtained resin composition (1) was subjected to the following silver corrosion acceleration test, formability test and measurement of brightness to evaluate silver corrosion, formability and whiteness.

[0041] [Silver Corrosion Acceleration Test]

[0042] In the mode that the pure silver foil does not contact the particles of the resin composition (1), 10 g of the par...

Embodiment 2

[0053] Premix 64.9 parts by mass of PET, 35 parts by mass of barium sulfate, and 0.1 part by mass of zinc oxide ("MZ-500" manufactured by Tayca Corporation, specific surface area: 50m 2 / g, average particle diameter: 25nm), and then put the mixture into a twin-screw extruder (manufactured by Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. "TEM-37BS"), and melt kneading at 270 to 300°C to obtain pellets Shaped resin composition (2). About the obtained resin composition (2), it carried out similarly to Example 1, and evaluated the silver corrosion acceleration test and formability test.

Embodiment 3

[0055] 60 parts by mass of PET, 35 parts by mass of barium sulfate, and 3 parts by mass of zinc oxide (manufactured by Tayca Corporation "MZ-500", specific surface area: 50 m 2 / g, average particle diameter: 25nm), and then put the mixture into a twin-screw extruder (manufactured by Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. "TEM-37BS"), and melt kneading at 270 to 300°C to obtain pellets Shaped resin composition (3). The obtained resin composition (3) was evaluated in the same manner as in Example 1 by performing a silver corrosion acceleration test and a formability test.

Abstract

Provided are: a thermoplastic resin composition characterized by comprising (A) a polyester, (B) a compound containing free sulfur and (C) zinc oxide having a specific surface area of 15 m2 / g or more; and a reflective film produced using the thermoplastic resin composition. The thermoplastic resin composition can be used for a reflective film for a back light unit for a liquid crystal display device and can prevent the corrosion or discoloration of a metal terminal in the liquid crystal display device. Particularly when the above-mentioned thermoplastic resin composition containing barium sulfate as the compound (B) is used, the thermoplastic resin composition has a high effect of preventing the corrosion or discoloration of the metal terminal. When the content of the zinc oxide (C) is 0.05 to 15 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (B), the thermoplastic resin composition is further improved in the effect of preventing the corrosion or discoloration of the metal terminal.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin having whiteness usable for a reflective film of a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device and capable of preventing corrosion or discoloration of metal terminals in a liquid crystal display device, and a reflective film using the thermoplastic resin. Background technique [0002] In the backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device, in order to efficiently guide light from a light source to the display front, a reflective film is provided on the back thereof. As this reflective film, for example, there is known a reflective film having a higher reflectance in which fine bubbles are generated inside the film by stretching a resin composition containing barium sulfate Polyethylene terephthalate as a base resin (for example, see Patent Document 1.). [0003] However, since free sulfur is contained in barium sulfate, there is a problem that metal terminals in a liquid crystal display de...
