By means of control of different temperatures and reflux ratios at the top of the extractive distillation column, an ethyl tert-butyl ether product, an ethyl tert-butyl ether / extraction agent transition portion 1, a tert-butyl alcohol product, and an ethyl tert-butyl ether / extraction agent transition portion 2 are respectively withdrawn from the top of the extractive distillation column.
