[0032] Ceramic slurry can be prepared by ball milling or stirring. In a preferred example, the ceramic slurry is prepared by the following method: dissolving the dispersant in water, ball milling for 12-24 hours, then adding 1 / 3 mass of carbon black and silicon carbide ceramic powder, ball milling for 20-24 hours, and then adding The remaining 2 / 3 of the ceramic powder is ball milled for 20-24 hours, and then the binder and plasticizer are added to ball mill for another 20-24 hours. The dispersant is polyvinylpyrrolidone (K29) and tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH), and the added amount is 5%-10% and 2%-4% of the mass of carbon black and silicon carbide respectively. The binder is one of water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol, methyl cellulose, polyacrylic acid emulsion or polyurethane, and the solid content of the binder is 8%-12% of the mass of the ceramic powder; the plasticizer is polyethylene glycol Alcohol, polypropylene glycol, dibutyl phthalate or benzyl butyl phthalate, a...

Embodiment 1

[0042] Example 1:1.0g K29 and 0.8g TMAH were dissolved in 39.7mL water, ball milled for 12 hours, then added 6.7g C and 13.4g SiC and ball milled for 24 hours, then added 13.4g C and 26.8g SiC and ball milled for 24 hours, followed by adding 4.8g PVA and 1.4g PEG ball milling for 24 hours; the viscosity of the slurry and the curve of the change of the shear stress with the shear rate are measured to obtain the rheological properties of the slurry such as figure 1 shown. The slurry exhibits typical shear thinning characteristics and is suitable for tape casting. The obtained slurry was cast and dried at room temperature for 5 hours. The obtained cast film is stacked and put into a mold, and the axial load is 20MPa to form it, and the mold is demoulded after holding the pressure for 20 minutes. get as figure 2 As shown in the cast film blank, it can be seen that the cast film blank is uniform and smooth.

Embodiment 2

[0043] Example 2: 1.4g K29 and 1.9g TMAH were dissolved in 38.8mL water, ball milled for 12 hours, then 4.7g C and 15.7g SiC were added and ball milled for 24 hours, then 9.4g C and 31.4g SiC were added and ball milled for 24 hours, followed by the addition of 4.9g PVA and 1.5g of PEG ball milled for 24 hours; the obtained slurry was cast and dried at room temperature for 5 hours. The obtained cast film is stacked and put into a mold, and the axial load is 20MPa to form it, and the mold is demoulded after holding the pressure for 20 minutes.

Abstract

The invention relates to a water-based tape casting method for preparation of a reaction sintered silicon carbide carbon-containing porous biscuit. The method includes the steps of: (1) dispersing silicon carbide powder serving as ceramic powder, carbon black, a dispersing agent, an adhesive and a plasticizer in water evenly according to certain proportion, and performing ball milling to obtain a ceramic slurry; (2) subjecting the obtained ceramic slurry to vacuum defoaming and then performing tape casting to obtain a cast film; (3) drying and laminating the obtained cast film, putting the cast film into a die, carrying out compression molding and demolding, thus obtaining a cast film biscuit; and (4) subjecting the obtained cast film biscuit to heat preservation debonding at certain temperature to obtain the carbon-containing porous biscuit with uniform pore size distribution. The method provided by the invention uses water as the only solvent of the tape casting process, and has the advantages of low cost, no toxicity and harm, and environmental friendliness.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a water-based tape-casting method for a carbon-containing porous ceramic green body, and belongs to the field of tape-casting molding technology. Background technique [0002] Reaction sintered silicon carbide is an important engineering ceramic material: it mainly reacts carbon-containing porous green bodies with reactive silicon (or silicon alloys) to form silicon carbide ceramics. Its advantages lie in the simple preparation process, low reaction temperature, and the ability to prepare samples with complex shapes and high densities near the net size. The key to the process of reaction sintering silicon carbide is the preparation of carbon-containing porous green body. [0003] There are many forming methods for carbon-containing porous bisque, which are mainly divided into two categories: dry forming and wet forming. Among them, dry forming is difficult to control the structural uniformity of the green body, and it is easy...
