The invention relates to a preparation method for recombining a decoration material through gluing of waterborne isocyanates, and belongs to the technical field of new decoration materials. The preparation method includes the following steps that (1) a log is rotationally cut, veneers with the thickness being 0.5-0.7 mm are manufactured; (2) the veneers are dried, whitened, dyed and dried again, so that primary sheets are obtained; (3) the primary sheets are glued and recombined, and a batten is obtained; and (4) the batten is subjected to cold pressing to form the recombined decoration material. In the step (3), a double-component waterborne polymer isocyanates (API) adhesive is used as the adhesive for gluing, the double-component waterborne isocyanates adhesive comprises a main agent and a curing agent which are compounded, and the main agent comprises, by weight, 100 parts of polyvinyl acetate emulsion, 0.01-0.1 part of an antifoaming agent, 10-13 parts of protective colloid, 0.05-0.5 part of a thickening agent and 5-8 parts of auxiliaries; the curing agent comprises isocyanates. According to the recombined decoration material, the formaldehyde emission is lower than 0.3 mg/L, gluebond strength is qualified, and color fastness to light reaches the level 4.
