Abstract

The invention relates to the field of traditional Chinese medicines, and discloses a method for preparing semen strychni and earthworm pellets. The method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing semen strychni and earthworms with medicinal auxiliaries in the presence of a solvent; (2) granulating the mixture in the step (1) by adopting an extrusion-spheronization method to obtain spherical pellet precursors, and controlling the condition of the extrusion-spheronization method to enable the average particle diameter of the spherical pellet precursors to be less than 4mm; and (3) drying the spherical pellet precursors obtained in the step (2). The medicinal auxiliaries comprise excipients which are starch and/or microcrystalline cellulose. The semen strychni and earthworm pellets prepared by the method have excellent roundness and yield and excellent dissolution rate.
