Abstract

The industrial chromium-based waste materials are adopted, and the black ceramic pigment is prepared from, by weight, 55%-60% of chromium-containing waste materials, 35%-40% of iron oxide red, 1%-5% of sodium oxide and 1%-5% of potassium oxide; the method includes the steps that the chromium-containing waste materials are calcined and subjected to ball milling ready for use, then the product and other components are prepared, mixed, calcined and smashed, and the product is obtained. The invention further discloses the black ceramic pigment prepared with the preparing method.
