Abstract

The present invention provides a splitting device comprising a static splitting chamber having an inner surface defining a raw material contact surface, wherein the chamber is heated such that the raw material contact surface is substantially maintained at a desired temperature; the chamber further comprises an inlet and an outlet; and a raw material transporting device for transporting the raw materials from the inlet to the outlet. The raw material transporting device comprises: a raw material holding tray located below an inlet and above the outlet for receiving the raw materials falling from the inlet and provided with a hole adjacent to a fuel contact surface, and a raw material pushing member for transferring the raw materials on the raw material holding tray to the raw material contact surface until the raw materials passed through the hole in the holding tray to fall. The beneficial results of the present invention include decrease in manufacturing and maintenance costs, rise in safety levels for cracked gasifiers and improvement in gas product quality.
