Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of an escitalopram oxalate oral solution. The escitalopram oxalate oral solution comprises escitalopram oxalate, a stabilizer, a flavoring agent, a solvent, a preservative and a pH buffering agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: sieving auxiliary materials; dissolving escitalopram oxalate, purified water, citric acid, sodium citrate, malic acid and sorbitol into water to prepare a water phase; dissolving propylene glycol, glycerol, ethylparaben and menthol into water to prepare an organic phase; and mixing the water phase with an alcohol phase, so as to prepare the escitalopram oxalate oral solution. The escitalopram oxalate in the oral solution prepared by virtue of the preparation method is racemic citalopram-S-enantiomer, and an action mode may be relevant with a behavior of strengthening serotonin activation by inhibiting the reabsorption of nerve cells of a central nervous system to 5-hydroxytryptamine. An escitalopram oxalate oral suspension is used for clinically treating major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety.
