The invention discloses a water soluble dye color fixing agent containing ibuprofen, which is composed of, by weight, 3-5 parts of the ibuprofen, 0.1-1.2 parts of dicyandiamide, 3-4 parts of diallyldimethyl ammonium chloride, 0.2-0.4 parts of citric acid, 12-14 parts of polyethylene glycol, 0.1-0.2 parts of RH brilliant blue, 0.05-0.1 parts of BD yellow, 1.5-1.8 parts of BD red, 24-25 parts of anhydrous sodium sulphate, 60-62 parts of sodium carbonate and 100-200 parts of deionized water. The ibuprofen is employed as a main raw material and is matched with the dicyandiamide and diallyldimethyl ammonium chloride, so that the dye color fixing agent is very excellent in color fixing capability and can significantly improve the color fastness of fabrics. Through color fixing treatment, the fabric has no photochromic change and is free of reduction of mechanical performance and other color fastness.
