Abstract

The invention discloses a hydrofining catalyst and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a slurry of alumina containing silicon, wherein the alumina containing silicon is a complex of SiO2 and Al2O3; (2) adding a boron-containing compound, a phosphorus-containing compound, a VIB family metal compound and a VIII family metal compound into the slurry, and performing filtration to obtain a filter cake and filtrate; and (3) mixing the filtrate with SB powder and a peptizing agent to obtain an adhesive, and performing rolling, forming, drying and roasting on the adhesive and the filter cake to obtain the hydrofining catalyst. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, metal salts which can be dissolved in water easily are added into the slurry to ensure uniform contact among aluminum oxide, an auxiliary agent and the metal salts in the slurry, and after the filter cake is subjected to drying and forming, the loading capacity and dispersion degree of metal components are improved, and the synergistic action of the auxiliary agent and metal active components is brought into play to the maximum extent. The catalyst disclosed by the invention is particularly suitable for removing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon from naphthenic base distillate oil.
