Abstract

The membrane comprises polyvinyl alcohol, ion exchange resin particles and metal particles, wherein the polyvinyl alcohol forms a membrane substrate and is provided with micro pore passages formed during the membrane formation process, the ion exchange resin particles are intercalated into the polyvinyl alcohol membrane substrate to develop an ion exchange effect, and the metal particles are filled in the micro pore passages of the membrane substrate and are used for preventing fuel methanol molecules from being diffused through the micro pore passages. The preparation method of the ion exchange membrane comprises the steps of forming the polyvinyl alcohol and ion exchange resin powder, dissolving the polyvinyl alcohol and the ion exchange resin powder in deionized water to form gel and form the membrane, immersing the membrane in a metal salt solution for cleaning, and immersing the membrane in a sodium borohydride solution.
