Abstract

The invention discloses composition for preparing an ultrahigh-Vicat CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) pipe. The composition is prepared from components in parts by weight as follows: 100 parts ofCPVC, 0.5-1.5 parts of a heat stabilizer, 2-5 parts of an auxiliary stabilizer, 1-3 parts of a lubricant, 4-10 parts of an impact modifier, 10-30 parts of filler and 5-10 parts of titanium dioxide. According to the formula of the ultrahigh-Vicat CPVC pipe, high-melting-point external lubrication is improved by adjusting proportion of solid and liquid stabilizers; the whole Vicat softening temperature of the material is increased by adding proper filler. The filler adopts talcum powder which is modified on surface and has the pH being 8-9. The talcum powder as the filler can bond better with CPVC resin while not producing great influence on other properties of the material. Meanwhile, the talcum powder is an inorganic substance, so that the Vicat softening temperature of the material can be increased to a certain degree, and cost can be reduced substantially. The Vicat softening temperature of the material can reach 116 DEG C which is 6 DEG C higher than that specified in the nationalstandard, while other physical properties are not affected.
