Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid phase photocatalytic treatment system for volatile organic compounds (VOC) waste gas and a treatment method of VOC waste gas. The liquid phase photocatalytic treatmentsystem comprises an oxidation tower and a feeding device; wherein the oxidation tower comprises an air intake port, an air exhaust port, multi-stage sprinkling devices, multi-stage ultraviolet (UV) light devices and a filler layer; the air intake port is formed in the lower part of the oxidation tower, and the air exhaust port is formed in the top part of the oxidation tower; each sprinkling device comprise nozzles; the multi-stage sprinkling devices and the multi-stage UV light devices are vertically installed in a staggered way at intervals; at least one stage of the filler layer is installed under the lowest sprinkling device; a plurality of pall rings are arranged in the filler layer; the feeding device comprises a circulation feed pump and a reagent box; and the circulation feed pumpis connected with the sprinkling devices. The catalytic reaction of a hydroxyl radical reagent and the optical oxidation reaction of UV light are utilized for degrading the VOC waste gas into non-toxic odorless gas which is then discharged, and therefore the treatment system is economical and reasonable, good in treatment effect, obvious in environmental benefits, easy to maintain and broad in application prospects.
