Abstract

The method comprises the steps of a process preparing an Fe-contained side product which is generated in an iron smelting process; a process of grinding a particle surface which forms the side product for separating zinc from the Fe particle surface in the side product; and a magnetic separation process of applying a magnetic field tothe side product in which zinc is separated from the Fe particle surface for obtaining a magnetic product with relatively high Fe content and a non-magnetic product with relatively high zinc content.Therefore, according to the solution of the invention, the Fe and the zinc can be effectively separated in the subsequent magnetic separation process.
