The novel low-silicon low-rare-earth spheroidizing agent is prepared fromthe following materials in parts by weight: 44-50 parts of silicon, 1.79-2.07 parts of calcium, 5-6.36 parts of magnesium oxide, 0.5-1.01 parts of aluminum, 0.009-0.051 part of titanium, 1.09-1.35 parts of manganese, 0.35-0.65 part of nickel, 0.9-1.65 parts of cerium oxide, 0.03-0.09 part of yttrium oxide and 0.06-0.1 part of rubidium oxide.
