Abstract

The invention discloses a polypropylene-based graft and a preparation method thereof. The graft is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 94-99 parts of a polypropylene-based compound, 0.5-5 parts of a vinyl silicon coupling agent, 0.01-1 part of an initiator, 0.1-1 part of an antioxidant and 0.1-1 part of a lubricant. The invention also relates to the preparation method of thepolypropylene-based graft. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the raw materials through a mixture; then feeding the raw materials into a dual screw extruder; and carrying out a melted grafting reaction under the condition that the temperature range is 140-220 DEG C and the rotating speed of the screw is 200-500 rpm and carrying out extruding and granulating. Compared with the prior art, the polypropylene-based graft prepared by the invention has very good coupling action to a glass fiber of talc powder enhanced polypropylene material. The preparation methodis simple in process and convenient for scaled production application.
