Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a picosecond seed source laser. The picosecond seed source laser comprises a saturable absorber integrated structure, a wavelength division multiplexer, a gainfiber, a beam splitter and a high-reflection grating, all of which are sequentially connected. One end of the gain optical fiber is connected with a signal output leg of the wavelength division multiplexer, and the other end is connected with an input end of the beam splitter. The output port of the saturable absorber integrated structure and a central point of the high-reflection grating are located on the same straight line to form a linear resonant cavity structure. The wavelength division multiplexer guides pump light into a linear resonant cavity structure, and the pump light is used asgain excitation in the linear resonant cavity structure to generate picosecond pulse laser. The beam splitter exports the picosecond pulse laser according to a preset proportion. According to the embodiment of the invention, the saturable absorber integrated structure and the high-reflection grating form the resonant cavity, so that the pump light guided into the cavity excites a gain medium to form excited radiation, and the saturable absorber integrated structure is used for passive mode locking, thereby simplifying the structure of the laser and improving the stability of the pulse seed source.
