Abstract

The invention provides an optical fiber light source with output capable of being switched between a laser and a random laser. The light source has the advantages of miniaturization, simple preparation method, low cost, good stability, good directionality and the like. The optical fiber light source comprises a pumping light source, DCJTB and PM567 gain media, TiO2 nanometer scattering particle doped PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) and an optical fiber, wherein the TiO2 nanometer scattering particle and DCJTB or PM567 acetone diluent are dispersed in the PDMS to be evenly mixed, and then, mixtureis coated to one section of optical fiber surface. By use of the optical fiber light source, the position of the pumping light source is changed to alternately irradiate the optical fiber which is notcovered with a gain material and an optical fiber covered with the gain material, and the laser and the random laser can be flexibly switched so as to meet different requirements of different fieldson laser light source coherence.
