Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing an expanded graphite carbon-based solid acid catalyst. The method comprises the following steps: by taking expanded graphite as a raw material, uniformlydispersing the expanded graphite into a sulfuric acid aqueous solution, performing a hydrothermal reaction at a high temperature, performing acidification treatment, and performing suction filtration,washing and drying, so as to obtain a solid acid catalyst, wherein the prepared solid acid catalyst has a high ethyl levulinate ethyl levulinate yield when being adopted to catalyze furfuryl alcohol.The preparation method provided by the invention is low in raw material price, easy in raw material obtaining and simple in synthesis method, and a novel idea is provided for preparation of a carbon-based solid acid catalyst. In addition, analysis testing results show that the prepared solid acid catalyst is good in performance and wide in application prospect and has commercial values.
