The droplet generating system comprises a micro pipeline, a rotating driving mechanism, a fluid driving mechanism and a digital PCR chip, wherein the micro pipeline is provided with a first opening and a second opening allowing liquid to enter and exit; the rotating driving mechanism is used for driving the micro pipeline to perform reciprocating swinging; the fluid driving mechanism is used for driving liquid to pass through the micro pipeline; the digital PCR chip comprises a chip body with a droplet storing cavity, a liquid inlet formed in the chip body, an accommodating cavity which is vertically formed in the chip body and communicates with the liquid inlet, a liquid discharging opening formed in the chip body, a first channel for communicating between the liquid inlet and the droplet storing cavity, and a second channel for communicating between the liquid dischargingopening and the droplet storing cavity; and the end, where the first opening is located, of the micro pipeline can be inserted into the accommodating cavity, and can be in reciprocating swinging in the accommodating cavity under the driving of the rotating driving mechanism.
