Abstract

The invention discloses a potato browning detection method based on machine vision, belongs to the technical field of nondestructive detection of food and agricultural products, and can be applied to various potato processing industries needing peeling. According to the method, a computer vision system is adopted for collecting the characteristic condition of the peeled potato surface, the recognition mode of human eyes is simulated, and the correlation between potato surface color characteristics and potato browning is established. In different production links, color information of a detected object can be detected for different objects, and the browning condition of the potatoes can be detected in real time in cooperation with browning grading determined by artificial sense organs or other production standards. The method disclosed by the invention focuses on actual problems existing in the potato processing industry, is based on an advanced and efficient rapid nondestructive testing technology, provides a new solution to the browning detection problem of peeled potatoes in the processing link, and plays a positive role in improving the potato processing quality and the intelligent level.
