According to the method, foreign matters and bad smell in the waste filter sticks are effectively removed, and meanwhile, 1) foreign matters such as iron filings, stones and the like caused by insufficient attention of production enterprises on the storage environment of the waste filter sticks are effectively removed; 2) material impurities brought by the special filter sticks, such as threads, gel, blasting beads, particles, flavors, fragrances and the like are effectively removed; and 3) raw material impurities brought by filter stick production, such as forming paper, lap adhesive, center line adhesive, plasticizer, oil and the like are effectively removed; the removal rate of inclusions in three kinds of waste filter sticks which influence recycling and respinning application can reach 99.9%, and the industrial technical problems of recycling, impurity removal and respinning application of the waste filter sticks are effectively solved.
