[0075] The preparation method of the above-mentioned nano-kaolin powder, through the fine foaming process, converts the liquid of the slurry into a critical state vapor film, and the generated fine bubbles separate the modified particles, which greatly increases the drying speed and effectively prevents the nanoparticles. During the drying process, hard agglomeration is formed, and the powder is easily dispersed to obtain active nano-kaolin powder. The method well solves the unavoidable hard agglomeration problem of nanoparticles during the drying process, and has the characteristics of simple, efficient, and very easy industrial production.

[0076] An embodiment of the present invention also provides a nano-kaolin powder, which is prepared according to the preparation method of any one of the above embodiments.

[0077] In some embodiments, the above-mentioned nano-kaolin powder is in the form of sheet-like aggregates with a diameter of 0.5 μm˜2 μm due to surface tension and e...

Embodiment 1

[0082] Example 1

[0083] 1. Preparation of Kaolin Slurry

[0084] (1) Preparation of saline solution

[0085] The sodium polycarboxylate solution was obtained by mixing water and 0.8 wt % sodium polycarboxylate with a mass of kaolin powder, and mechanically stirring for 1.5 h.

[0086] (2) Preparation of kaolin clay slurry

[0087] Under mechanical stirring, kaolin powder with a median particle size of 5 μm to 15 μm was gradually added to the prepared saline solution to obtain a mixed solution with 55 wt % kaolin powder, and stirred for 6 hours to obtain a kaolin slurry. The kaolin clay slurry was analyzed by laser particle size analyzer (Mastersizer 3000, Malvern Panalytical, UK), and the results were as follows figure 1 shown.

[0088] 2. Preparation of modified nano-kaolin slurry

[0089] (1) Add the kaolin slurry to a high-energy ball mill (SuperFlow 12, Bühler, Switzerland) at one time, and add zirconia beads with a diameter of 0.5 mm and a purity of 99%, stearic ac...

[0099] Example 2

[0100] 1. Preparation of Kaolin Slurry

[0101] (1) Preparation of saline solution

[0102] Mix water and sodium polycarboxylate with a mass of 0.5 wt % of kaolin powder, and mechanically stir for 1 hour to obtain a sodium polycarboxylate solution.

[0103] (2) Preparation of kaolin clay slurry

[0104] Under mechanical stirring, kaolin powder with a median particle size of 5 μm to 15 μm was gradually added to the prepared saline solution to obtain a mixed solution with kaolin powder accounting for 60 wt %, and stirred for 8 hours to obtain a kaolin slurry.

[0105] 2. Preparation of modified nano-kaolin slurry

[0106] (1) Add the kaolin slurry to a high-energy ball mill (SuperFlow 12, Bühler, Switzerland) at one time, and add zirconia beads with a diameter of 0.5 mm and a purity of 99%, stearic acid and 1.0 wt% of the kaolin powder mass. 0.5 wt% sodium polycarboxylate to obtain a mixed slurry.

Abstract

The invention relates to nano kaolin powder and a preparation method thereof. According to the preparation method of the nano-kaolin powder, liquid of slurry is converted into a critical state steam film through a fine foaming process, and modified particles are spaced by generated fine bubbles, so that the drying speed is greatly increased, and hard agglomeration of nano-particles in the drying process is effectively prevented; and the powder is easily dispersed to obtain the active nano kaolin powder. The method well solves the problem that hard agglomeration which is difficult to avoid is formed in the drying process of the nanoparticles, and has the characteristics of simplicity, high efficiency and easiness in industrial production.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of nanometer materials, in particular to a nanometer kaolin powder and a preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] Nanomaterials refer to materials with at least one dimension in the nanometer scale (1nm to 100nm) in three-dimensional spatial scale. It is a new generation of materials composed of nanoparticles with sizes between atoms, molecules and macroscopic systems. When the particle size is reduced to the nanometer scale, it will lead to new characteristics of acoustic, optical, electrical, magnetic or thermal properties. Nano-kaolin is one of them and has a wide range of applications in modern industrial fields. However, in the natural state, kaolinite particles are adsorbed and connected to each other to form aggregates or aggregates. Direct application cannot produce nano-effects. Appropriate methods must be used to separate the particles and form a single nano-particle. , in order ...
