Lithium chloride / p-dimethylaminopyridine is adopted as a catalytic system, hemicellulose and phytic acid are subjected to an esterification reaction to generate hemicellulose acid ester, the hydroxyl substitution degree of hemicellulose in the reaction reaches 0.5 or above, and integration of a carbon source and an acid source in an intumescent flame retardant system is successfully achieved; in addition, melamine reacts with formaldehyde, and a hydroxyl functional group is grafted on melamine, so that melamine is hydroxymethylated; finally, under the catalytic action of lithium chloride / p-dimethylaminopyridine, the hemicellulose phytate and the melamine hydroxymethylation product are subjected to an esterification reaction, so that melamine and phytic acid are grafted to hemicellulose, preparation of the three-source-integrated bio-based intumescent flame retardant is achieved, the substitution degree of hydroxyl groups on hemicellulose molecules can reach 0.5 or above finally, and the flame retardant efficiency is improved.
