The invention discloses a technology for planting
lotus roots in a
fish pond. The technology includes the following steps that (1)
germination accelerating is conducted, and breeding
lotus roots are stacked for accelerating
germination; (2) the planting density is controlled, the
sowing quantity per mu is 200-250 kg, wide and narrow row spacing is used for seed arrangement, the wide
row space is 2.5 m, the narrow
row space is 0.4 m, the distance between plants is 0.6 m, and the number of required
bud heads is 200-400; (3) planting is carried out, seed arrangement is conducted at the end of February and the beginning of March, all the plants between the rows are arranged to be in a
quincunx shape, the
bud heads on the periphery face inwards, the phenomenon that
lotus whips are inserted into the periphery of the
fish pond is avoided, the remaining rows also face one side, the
bud heads are inserted in mud in the planting process, and the tips protrude out of the water surface; (4) membranes are covered; (5) the membranes are uncovered, after the first ten-day period of May, the membranes are uncovered, ridges are removed, water is poured till the depth of water is 10-15 cm, fish excrement of 2000 kg and
urea of 17 kg are subjected to top dressing per mu, and foliage spraying of boric
fertilizer of 2 kg is conducted per mu; (6) harvesting is performed. According to the technology, the whole planting processes such as
germination accelerating, planting, membrane covering and
fertilizer applying are systematically controlled, the bud ratio, the growth rate and the
survival rate of the lotus roots are effectively guaranteed, the quality of the lotus roots is good, the yield of the lotus roots is high and
economic benefits are good.
