Abstract

A technology and an equipment for manufacturing of sub-linear polyphenylene sulfide fiber belong to the research and development field of manufacturing technology and equipment of sub-linear polyphenylene sulfide fiber. Using injection-grade polyphenylene sulfide resin as the raw production material, the present invention, with solid polymerization, obtains excellent silk-forming property by uniformly distributing the molecular weight of molten raw-material bodies and bettering the flowability. The equipment of the present invention adopts a common spinning fiber production line, wherein the back part of a material feed hopper has a solid polymerizer, the front and rear parts of which respectively have a material inlet screw and a material outlet screw for controlling the amount of feeding and discharging material. The method of the present invention can be easily implemented; the object of producing sub-linear fiber with raw material of injection-grade resin can be realized just by slightly modifying a common spinning production line and controlling the polymerization temperature and pressure in production. The method solves the fiber production vacancy of the prior art and expands the raw material source for polyphenylene sulfide fiber production, and therefore being an ideal method for production of sub-linear polyphenylene sulfide fiber.
