The invention relates to a sulfur-containing wastewater treatment method for efficiently removing sulfides. The method comprises the following steps: (1) treating sulfide-containing wastewater until the pH is alkaline; ozone is introduced into the alkaline sulfur-containing wastewater, and sulfide is oxidized into insoluble elemental sulfur; (2) adding one or two of coagulant polyaluminum chloride or polyferric sulfate, so that the elemental sulfur particles and other suspended impurities are coagulated to form large particle groups; (3) adding a cationic flocculant to flocculate elemental sulfur particles and other suspended impurities in the wastewater; and (4) carrying out solid-liquid separation on the flocculated wastewater through gravity settling, so as to realize desulfurization treatment on the wastewater containing inorganic sulfides such as S. HS and the like. According to the method, the sulfide removal rate is high and can reach 95% or above; the agent addition amount is small, the treatment cost is low, and economic benefits are good; the method is green, low-carbon and less in pesticide residue.
