Embodiment 1-1

[0152] The physiological function improving device (steam warming sheet) of the embodiment shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 was produced in the following procedure.

[0153]

[0154] Use iron powder (manufactured by Dowa Iron Powder Mining Co., Ltd., trade name "RKH"), activated carbon (manufactured by Japan Enviro Chemicals Co., Ltd., trade name "Calborafin"), and pulp fiber (NBKP, manufacturer: フレツチヤ-チヤレンジカナダ, commodity A slurry with a solid content concentration of 0.3% called "Mackenzie") was made using an inclined short-wire paper machine at a line speed of 15 m / min to produce a wet shaped sheet. The formed sheet is held between felts for dehydration under pressure, and is dried directly by passing between heated rollers at 140°C. The composition of the molded sheet was measured with a thermogravimetric measuring device (manufactured by Seico Instruments, TG / DTA6200), and it was found to be 75% iron powder, 10% activated carbon, and 15% pulp. The mass per unit area of the ...

Embodiment 1-2

[0159]

[0160] The mixing of the raw material composition is as follows.

[0161] ・Metals to be oxidized: iron powder (manufactured by Dowa Iron Powder Mining Co., Ltd., trade name "RKH") 29.5%

[0162] Reaction Accelerator: Activated Carbon (manufactured by Japan Enviro Chemicals Co., Ltd., trade name "Calborafin") 10%

[0163] ・Water retaining agent 1: Acrylic superabsorbent polymer (manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical, name: Aquapar) 7%

[0164] Water retaining agent 2: Vermiculite (manufactured by NN CHEMICAL) 7%

[0165] Electrolyte: refined salt (NaCl) 1.5%

[0166] ·Water: industrial water 45%

[0167]

[0168] (2) Production of steam heating appliances

[0169] The heat-generating powder formed by uniformly mixing the above-mentioned raw material composition was filled into the same storage body as in Example 1-1, and the steam-heating sheet shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 was obtained. The filling amount of the exothermic powder was 20 g.

Embodiment 2-1

[0175] The physiological function improving device (steam warming sheet) of the embodiment shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 was produced in the following procedure.

[0176]

[0177] Raw material composition mixing

[0178] Fibrous matter: Pulp fiber (NBKP, manufacturer: Fretsuchaya-Chainjikanada, trade name "Mackenzie", CSF 140ml) 8%

[0179] ・Metals to be oxidized: iron powder (manufactured by Dowa Iron Powder Mining Co., Ltd., trade name "RKH") 84%

[0180] Reaction Accelerator: Activated Carbon (manufactured by Enviro Chemicals Co., Ltd., Japan, trade name "Calborafiso") 8%

[0181] 0.7 parts by weight of polyamide epichlorohydrin resin (Hoshiko PMC Co., Ltd. manufactured, trade name "WS4020") and 0.18 parts by weight of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., trade name "HE1500F") as an anionic coagulant. Furthermore, water (industrial water) was added until the solid content concentration became 12%, and the slurry was obtain...

Abstract

A physiology enhancing device for improving physiological functions of a human body, etc., which comprises a heat generating element making use of chemical energy and a sheet interposed between the heat generating element and a body surface of a wearer, and which is designed to supply steam generated from the heat generating element while the device is applied to the body surface. The device exhibits steam generating capability for 2 hours or longer and, while applied to the body surface, raises the body surface temperature to a temperature from 38 DEG C to lower than 42 DEG C within one hour from the application. The sheet interposed between the heat generating element and the body surface preferably has a function of regulating air feed to the heat generating element and a function of transferring the heat of the physiology enhancing device to the body surface and preferably has a total thickness of 0.05 to 1.5 mm.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a device for improving physiological functions using water vapor. The invention also relates to steam heating appliances. Background technique [0002] As lifestyles change, the societal mainstream towards health tends towards self-medication. And, along with this tendency, the trend of daily health care has increased. Common health problems for adults include low back pain, shoulder pain, cold syndrome, weak eyesight, menstrual pain, joint pain, etc. In addition, with the advancement of IT in offices in recent years, pain in the waist, shoulders, and head, and eye fatigue have also become problems. It can be expected that in the future, it will become common to alleviate or treat or prevent these symptoms in daily family life. For example, there is known thermotherapy in which a heating element (so-called disposable body warmer) containing an oxidizable metal is worn on the waist to heat the area in order to reliev...
