Abstract

The invention discloses alloy material of a multiple copper-based electric contact, which is novel material for electric contact formed by taking metal cupper as the basis, adding a plurality of metals and rare earth elements and applying two phases or multiple phases after casting the alloy. The content of each element according to a weight ratio is 7%-25% for nickel, 1%-15% for titanium, 1%-6% for cobalt, 0.1%-2% for molybdenum, 0.002%-0.2% for rare earth element, and the rest for copper. The alloy material is characterized by: (1) low contact resistance, abrasion resistance, corruption resistance, small arc, long service life which is larger than 1 million times when the material is used as a negative electrode; (2) realizing manufacture directly by melting, simple manufacture method; (3) no heavy metal elements such as cadmium or lead which dangers the environment; (4) no noble metal or rare metal such as gold, silver, platinum or rhodium, a low cost which is much lower than that of the silver-based alloy material. The alloy material is mainly used in electric devices of a DC low voltage (which is equal to or less than 36V), such as automobile electric devices, household electric devices, etc.
