Abstract

The invention discloses a processing method of fish glue, which is characterized by including the following steps: fresh fish maws are selected; the tissues such as fat, blood vessels, nerves and the like on the surface of the fish maws are removed; the fish maws are cut into filaments with the width of 0.2cm to 1.0cm and dipped in NaOH solution of 1 to 3 percent (weight percentage concentration) or Na2CO3 solution of 2 to 6 percent (weight percentage concentration) for 3 to 5 hours and then washed by tap water for approaching neutral; then the filaments of the fish maws are dried under temperature below 40 DEG C for containing less than 14 percent of water or frozen-dried until the water content is less than 14 percent; and the filaments of the fish maws after being dried are cracked and packaged, thus being the finished product of the fish glue. The processing method of fish glue has the advantages that: the fish glue can be used as medical engineering materials, edible packaging materials, a cosmetic raw materials, beer clarifiers, sherry clarifiers, or water processing clarifiers and the raw materials of health care food.
