The invention discloses a capsule for treatment of nephrotic syndromes, which is prepared with the modern process for processing and refining of raw materials required in the prescription with nine kinds of traditional Chinese herbs, including radix codonopsitis, Astragalus root, prepared rhizome of rehmannia, angelica, American ginseng, phellodendron, Tuckahoe, safflower and peach kernel. The capsule in the invention has the functions of supplementing qi, nourishing yin, clearing away pathogenic heat and removing dampness, and can be used for treatment of nephrotic syndromes, particularly for treatment of nephrotic syndromes with a large amount of albuminuria as the main clinical feature. Based on the pharmacodynamic test and study, the invention can significantly reduce the urokinase protein, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine of animals in the nephrosis model, improve the hematoglobin, ease the pathological lesion of kidney tissues, and promote or quicken the structural recovery of the kidney tissues.
