The method provided by the invention comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out sand blasting on the whole rotating wheel, blades and the lining of a draft tube and requiring to reach an Sa2.5 level; (2) repairing cavitation pits on the rotating wheel of the water turbine, the blades and the draft tube by adopting a titaniferous stainless steel inlaying method or a nano plastic steel polyurethane elastomer scraping method after nails are planted; and (3) coating a nano plastic steel 8103 wear-resistant and cavitation-resistant coating and a nano plastic steel 8102 ultra-smooth coating.
