Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing copper-powder-containing iron by reducing copper-containing furnace cinders directly. In the method, the copper-containing furnace cinders are reduced directly by utilizing a tunnel kiln so as to obtain a main raw material for producing economic weathering resistant steel which has high atmospheric corrosion resistance and good comprehensive mechanical performance. The method comprises the following steps of: crushing the copper-containing furnace cinders into powder with a certain granularity, mixing the powder, a reducing agent and a reductionaid uniformly in a certain ratio, and putting into the tunnel kiln for reducing; and cooling a reduction product, crushing and grinding ores and performing magnetic separation to obtain the copper-powder-containing iron (magnetic ore concentrates) and tailings (magnetic tailings), wherein the copper-powder-containing iron can be directly used as the raw material for smelting the weathering resistant steel. By the method, environmental pollution caused by the copper-containing furnace cinders is avoided, and a new process is provided for the comprehensive recycling of wastes.
