Abstract

The invention relates to a method for establishing a prawn virus infection model. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) preparing white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) separation and preserving fluid; (2) infecting litopenaeus vannamei with the WSSV preserving fluid at different concentration; and (3) determining the prawn virus infection quantity in the current ribonucleic acid (RNA) interference study by a prawn cumulative death rate observation method. The prawn virus infection model established by the method is high in reproducibility and credibility of RNA interference study results; and the method is easy and convenient to operate and clear in judgment standard, is suitable for the antiviral study of RNA interference and also can be used for the popularization and application of RNA interference preparations in aquatic product practice.
