Abstract

The invention provides a phosphorus-containing boric acid ester water-based lubricant. A preparation method for the lubricant comprises the following steps of: (1) adding boric acid, a raw material A and glycerol into a reaction kettle, and performing reaction under vacuum and with stirring; (2) closing and vacuumizing the reaction kettle, cooling the reaction kettle till the internal temperature is below 50DEG C, slowly adding phosphorus pentoxide into the reaction kettle, continuously stirring with the reaction temperature between 90 DEG C, and stirring after the addition of the materials; (3) adding pure water into the reaction kettle and stirring with the temperature below 90 DEG C; and (4) cooling the reaction kettle to room temperature and discharging. A raw material A is one of TX-(4 to 9) or AEO (4 to 9) and the lubricant comprises 70 to 85 weight percent of the raw material A, 2.5 to 4 weight percent of boric acid, 2 to 6.5 weight percent of glycerol, 4 to 7 weight percent of phosphorus pentoxide, and 3 to 17 weight percent of pure water. The lubricant with high boiling point is insusceptible to volatilization, is noncorrosive to metals and has high wear resistance. And the lubricant is safe and odorless.
