Disclosed herein is a composition comprising: (A) a lubricant or a hydrocarbon fuel; (B) at least one hydroxy carboxylic acid ester or hydroxy polycarboxylic acid ester having the generic formula defined herein; and (C) at least one phosphorus-containing additive.

Methods for formation of epitaxial layers containing n-doped silicon are disclosed. Specific embodiments pertain to the formation and treatment of epitaxial layers in semiconductor devices, for example, Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) devices. In specific embodiments, the formation of the n-doped epitaxial layer involves exposing a substrate in a process chamber to deposition gases including a silicon source, a carbon source and an n-dopant source. A method and apparatus for ultrasonic assisted deposition of a release agent onto a workpiece is disclosed. The release agent can be any fluorinated or non-fluorinated phosphorous-containing organic acid. The workpiece can be any workpiece desired to be coated with the release agent, such as a surface needing an anti-stick coating required in a plastic casting or injection mold. Metal oxide workpiece surfaces strongly bond to fluorinated phosphorus-containing organic acids. In particular, the present invention can deposit anti-stick coatings onto smooth or porous surfaces, such as anodized aluminum and its alloys, using ultrasonic assisted deposition

A flame retardant thermoplastic composition having excellent physical properties comprises about 20 to about 90 wt. % of a polycarbonate resin; up to about 35 wt. % of an impact modifier; about 0.5 to about 30 wt. % of a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer comprising about 8 to about 30 wt. % polydimethylsiloxane units or the equivalent molar amount of other diorganosiloxane units; and about 0.5 to about 20 wt. % of a phosphorus-containing flame retardant, each based on the total combined weight of the thermoplastic composition, exclusive of any filler. In one embodiment a sample of the thermoplastic composition having a thickness of 2.5 mm (±10 % ) achieves a UL94 5VA rating Thinner samples may also achieve this rating. The compositions are useful in forming flame retardant thin-walled articles.

The lubricating oil composition of the invention comprises a lubricating base oil with a urea adduct value of no greater than 4% by mass and a viscosity index of 100 or higher, an ashless friction modifier at 0.01-10% by mass and a phosphorus-containing anti-wear agent at 0.01-0.2% by mass as phosphorus, based on the total amount of the composition.

The invention relates to an improved process for producing organomolybdenum compositions with high molybdenum content that are highly useful as lubricant additives, in which the process involves reacting a fatty oil with a diamine, followed by reaction with a molybdenum source. The process of the present invention does not require a volatile organic solvent to promote molybdenum incorporation and produces an organomolybdenum composition having a high molybdenum content. In addition, the process can be conducted in the absence of sulfur and phosphorus-containing reactants.

A flame retardant thermoplastic composition having excellent physical properties that includes 20 to 90 wt. % of a polycarbonate resin; from 1 to 35 wt. % of an impact modifier; from 0.5 to 30 wt. % of a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer including from 8 to 30 wt. % polydimethylsiloxane units or the equivalent molar amount of other diorganosiloxane units; from 0.5 to 20 wt. % of a phosphorus-containing flame retardant, and from 3 to 30 wt. % of metal fiber, each based on the total combined weight of the thermoplastic composition, exclusive of any filler. In one embodiment, a molded sample of the thermoplastic composition having a thickness of 3.0 mm (±10%) has an EMI shielding of at least 20 dB. In addition, a molded sample of the thermoplastic composition is capable of achieving UL94 V0 or V1 rating at a thickness of 1.5 mm (±10%). The invention relates to a treatment method of phosphorus-containing waste water, comprising the following steps of: (1) adding an oxidizer to the phosphorus-containing waste water to regulate pH to be acidic, stirring for oxidation; (2) adding a coagulant to oxidized treating water, regulating the pH to be alkaline, stirring, wherein the coagulant is a composite reagent comprising ferrum, aluminum, calcium and ferrum, aluminum and calcium ions, and the mass ratio of the ferrum to the aluminum to the calcium is (1-2):(0-2):(0-1); (3) adding a coagulant aid solution to the treating water subjected to coagulation reaction, stirring, and participating outflow water; and (4) absorbing and filtering the participated outflow water, and then discharging. The flame-retardant epoxy resin comprises epoxy resin, a curing agent and the phosphorus-containing nitrile/DOPO double-base structure phosphorus-containing fire retardant. The preparation method is used for preparing the phosphorus-containing nitrile/DOPO double-base structure phosphorus-containing fire retardant.

A P-contained flame-retarding ethanediol polyterephthalate/laminar silicate composition is prepared from dimethyl terephthalate (or terephthalic acid), ethanediol, laminar silicate, P-contained flame retardant, intercalator, dispersing medium and catalyst.
